Being a California babe, there is a part of me that craves sunshine and warmth. Luckily California has sparingly cold days. I love the cold weather but sometimes you just want one warm day. The sunshine on your face and vitamin D on your skin. I think those days in between, are the best. Because you get a nice break from the freezing chill in the air and enjoy the sunshine.
It’s still not quite warm enough to wear shorts and a tank top but this break from the chilly days does require showing off a little skin! The off the shoulder blouse was all the rage in the summer of 2016. So why not bring into the fall and *possibly* winter months? Now I know this may only work if you live in an area that never gets below 40°F, so since I’m lucky enough to live in Southern California, I can get away with it! This blouse was given to me by Rose Gal, and what a beauty it is. I love the crochet detail on the top of the blouse. Some off the shoulder tops have an elastic band across the top, which I never really liked. It reminded me of a fitted bed sheet to be honest. But this detailing adds an elegance to the trend! I decided to wear this as a “winter cocktail party” outfit pairing it with some classic black skinnies. Stylish yet still comfortable.
