My little haven. My safe space. My apartment.
Moving out was definitely hard. I’ve always been so close with my family. I didn’t think I’d leave at least until I was in my mid twenties. But I made the bold move to live on my own at 20. And being a native of California…can be extremely difficult.
It’s not much but it’s home. 200 square feet of my own personal space to call my own. Everything I own is here.
This has been my home for only 8 months now but I have made some very intimate memories here.
The first “I Love You.” Daily yoga practices. Movie dates and sleep overs.
My first christmas alone without my family.
Learning to take care of myself and nourish my body on my own. I’ve learned to really accept myself and my body through these 8 months of supporting myself.
But the most important lesson I’ve learned from this experience, is my personal mantra:
Live healthy, Act thoughtfully, Obtain minimally.
